What color, and what is the expire date please? : )

Its the typical dark brown/red henna color. The package was manufactured January 2009. It say's its best to use 2 years from the date of the packaging. It should still be fine, the package is sealed and never been opened.

Yeah, water is fine. Some people I think use a black tea as well. There are directions on the package.
