My mom 25yr ago , brought me and my sister a baby Cactus , from my grandmothers place in Mercedes , TX .. they grow outside of her Trailer there..
and I have had mine in a pot , just transplanted her in the last two photo's to a bigger pot this summer.

The blooms are very fragrant but only last 24 hours ..

Thanks, fanned back ..

I love this, do you do anything special to these to make them flower? Are you concerned at all of the plants freezing in transit? I hope you will list more in the spring. :)

How big are the thorns on this species of cactus? Do they come in little bunches?

They appear to either not be there or are very small, which is excellent.
Exactly the kind of cactus I want :)

Thank you!

it will grow pretty fast in size with the miracle grow , after the first year or two it will start to produce fuzzy blooms ,don't pick them off unless they like the babies ,my sister mistaken hers babies for the blooms and picked them off by mistake. .

I can wrap them so they will be okay in the box , don't think it would hurt them , they are sitting here in my planter by my office window and it is cold back here in room and not hurting them at all. only think that will hurt them if you water them to much .
after you get them put them in pot soiling in pot with Miracle grow potting mix , and then I put the Miracle Grow Sticks.
