Seeds for an all time favorite: Easter Egg Plant or Ornamental Egg Plant, (Solanum Ovigerum) (aka: Wonder Egg Plant).
These plants are a definate conversation piece in your garden! Children from "1 - 92" will be amazed at the Easter Eggs growing in your garden. The eggs, which are about the size of an average chicken egg, start off pure white, as they age they change to a light yellow then to a dark gold color. The fruits - or eggs - are long lived on the plants and you will usually have some of every color at any given time all summer long! You also get the cutest lilac flowers with yellow stamens on these plants as an added bonus.
These can be grown in containers (so you can place them strategically for best effect!) or in the garden or landscape need full, or a good amount of sun each day, and have average water needs.
** VERY EASY TO GROW! **
The fruits are not edible (see note below)*.
