If you had Zero to hide about the coin why did you wait untill I asked you for clarification as to the coins validity to say it is faux you had the forethought to know you would not get very high bids on something you clearly knew was not even a coin yet you listed it as such anyway. By the way Listia has access to all of the conversations posted here so even if you delete them they will read what I had to say to you & vice versa,

I listed it as a coin "style" necklace so if i had a dolphin "style" necklace thats supposed to mean I have an actual dolphin around my neck? GET REAL! Bottom line....why would I provide a link to a necklace exactly like mine that describes it as a faux coin if I was trying to be shady???!!!

By the way I only read what was available to read when I bid and the info listed after I bid is what I take referance to. As you clearly knew the coin was a fake you should have listed it as such! I'm sure my education level far out weighs your own.You make yourself sound like someone who cant READ!

this girl is a JOKE! You can threaten me all day long teribylund but YOU are in the wrong! I have done NOTHING to go against Listia rules. I did not ask you to bid so high. I NEVER stated this was a REAL coin...ive done EVERYTHING possible to provide info on it for anyone who was interested. Just because you are upset because you obviously do not know how to READ....you bid more than you wanted to...that IS NOT MY FAULT! So until this auction is over...please do not write on my board anymore or they will be hidden. I will let Listia take care of you. Goodbye.

teribylund so "kindly" wrote this to me in private message: You can say alot of whatever you want but this is more about having your buyers happy and satisfied. So if you want to be hateful go with that if that is what you need to do to make yourself feel justified. I trusted your Title, no I did not read all of the conversations you had below it. That really doesnt matter the fact remains that you did not say this is a Fake/ Fuax coin in your ad. Style has nothing to do with the coin itself being a real coin it is ambiguous and the conversations only prove my point & disparage yours! So go ahead and keep this auction up, I will not let this go without a disput Listia can decide.

MY REPLY TO HER:
You know, if you would of come at me in a nice way...instead of a THREAT....I would have responded to you with more info...like...

1. the fact that I did include in my auction that ..."I don't know anything about these pieces so what you see is what you get :)"
2. I included a link for people to go to in order to get more info on it... "You can go here for more info on it:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-1776-Twenty-Dollar-Coin-Styl e-Pendant-Necklace-/250953170259?pt=Vintage_Costume_Jewelry& amp;hash=item3a6df97d53"

and lastly, because I included that information in my auction...no, I DONT think I was in the wrong. If you would have followed my advice and went to the link...someone is selling the EXACT same necklace and they DO in fact state that it is a FAUX coin.

I did NOT withold any information because I stated that I did not know anything about it....which is the TRUTH because it came in a box with other stuff that my mother-in-law gave me recently. I did not want to throw this stuff out so I figured I would list it all here for someone else to have.

It is NOT my fault that you chose not to fully read the description and follow my advice if you wanted to know more info on it....im just trying to give away stuff...i didnt ask for high bids..I just wanted this stuff gone to someone who will appreciate it.

Thanks for your time :)

Omg really? The title explains it ALL.... Coin STYLE Pendant! Style means it looks like a coin but actually is not. I have also wrote in comments replying that it is not a coin. You can report all you freakn want but I am NOT in the wrong! You should really learn how to READ the description, questions and comments before you place a bid. Dont THREATEN me that you will report when you its YOUR fault for not reading!

Not to be rude or offend anyone who bids on this coin but I had the same coin and the same necklace to. One day I got board ond opened up the necklace to take out the coin when I did this the plastic cover came off and the coin is basicly a stamping of a coin and some cardboard

Is the coin authentic? the last answer to the question as to the coin being real is unclear, its either real or it's faux, while being an actual coin thats a given. Just need to clarify Thanks

This is a faux coin. Very realistic in detail and design. It even has ridges on the sides. It really looks real! I can't tell if the 'coin' is metal, because it is encased in thick, clear lucite. It is 1 3/8 inch in diameter. The chain is 24 inches long, and has a spring ring clasp. Very good condition. A great piece for a coin collector, or possibly anyone associated with coins or money. Bank teller, cashier, payroll clerk, the list is endless.
I got this info from here...
