That is so encouraging to hear! Today is my 4th and LAST Chemo treatment! I am a part of a 580 person International Clinical Drug Study so tomorrow will be my last injection for that as well :) I am the only patient in Texas so far that is enrolled. it is to study Neulasta vs a new drug (SP-2012) that is much less expensive than Neulasta. Each dose of Neulasta is billed to the hospital at $9,000 PER DOSE!! That is frankly criminal, but when you have the only White Blood Cell Booster for Cancer treatment, they can command what ever they want! What a shame getting treatment like ours is enough to break the checkbook! I am so grateful that i get the drug at no cost due to the study. God provides when you least expect it!

I am delighted for you for being in Survivorship, as is my sister who had Breast Bancer about 10 years ago. When mine was found I had the BRACA-II gene test and it came back negative, so that was relief! After I am done with treatment my risk overall will be just 20%, much better than the 45% pre-Chemo!

Sorry folks for the mimi-cancer tutorial!! I am trying to spread the word to get 3-D mammograms and not to fear Cancer! it is simply a journey that must be taken, to come out whole and ready for the rest of your life! The key is EARLY detection!

Four months have two recognized birthstones and the rest have only one, except for December, which has three: Zircon, Tanzanite and Turquoise. Tanzanite is very close to the color of sapphires (my birthday's in September, so I knew there was only one birthstone for my month). Wow! So good to hear about the study
You took part in! Its terrible to think someone would have to pay 9, 000$ per shot! What is this world coming to??!
It is Amazing what they can do for Cancer. A close person to me has cancer. It started in lung,, and progressed to her liver. They removed a large part of her liver. She goes to the Mayo clinic every month for a shot. I was told that it shrinks the cancer cells. So. Pretty Amazing, she looks great!
