The listing, Vintage/Antique Mexican Earrings Lot *Sterling/925* has ended.
Up for auction is a 4 pair lot of Mexican silver antique earrings. Some are marked, some are not. Three of the four are screw on type, only the hoop pair are for pierced ears.
The 1st pair are kind of interesting, they appear to be inlayed with some kind of off white stone or granite (there is some cracking and chipping due to age) and are marked with 'Mexico 950' instead of 925. Which means the silver is slightly purer than Sterling. They appear to be quite old.
The next is a beautiful pair with large Carnelian dome/cabs that I cannot find any markings on but I am quite positive are solid silver.
The 3rd set of screw back earrings are plain silver with "Sterling" stamped on the back (very faint from age but it is there). They look very old as well.
Finally, we have a pair of black enamel and mother-of-pearl inlay earrings in a hoop style with french hooks. They are not marked and I am not sure if they are Sterling or not, they may be nickel silver, not sure. These are still of a very Mexican design but are not nearly as old the others.
