The listing, Paua Shell 6x4mm Ovals One dozen pieces has ended.

I bought a large lot of Paua shell and found it did not pass my test. It was rich deep blue and I put it in pearl jewelry cleaner. Guess what lol the blue came off. I cleaned it as best I can so there should be little dye left. This lot has some good and some not so good grade shell. I use it for inlay and it would still look great in a bracelet or ring. I am including 1 dozen so you get at least one good pair :) Oh yeah no these are not drilled they are flat cabochons

I thought about drilling them as well but several caveats you need to wear a dust mask most shell dust is poisonous, abolone and paua flake easily so I wuld soak them in water for a few days checking each day as this allows the shell to become softer. The other thing is since they are only 6x4mm I would use a scrap of fairly thick leather and use rubber cement to glue them in place clamp the leather down then use a diamond drill bit in a high speed dremel since I doubt you have a professional rotary tool like a foredom. though

continued lol Though if you are strong unlike myself at the momen you may be able to hold the weight of a regular household drill and drill them but like I said very small
