it's called "toddler" size based from puddle oodles lol but it fit my 1 yr old and would still fit her and she will be 2 next week. she's 21 lbs I believe it is supposed to go to 35 lbs but u may want to check piddle poddles websiye

You said it doesn't need a cover but it is a knitted print on the outside. Is there a hidden pul layer?
