Not really it has to remain in the sun for it to charge I was at a lake were we had no power and I used it to charge my phone. If at all possible you want to cover your phone from the sun, I was in 105 degrees ...lol Thank you! :-) ♡ you will have to fan me first I'm at limit I'll fan back as quickly as I can! ;-)
