You are bidding on a 52 yard skein of green feather yarn. It is super soft because of the way it was spun. It has a nice "hand" to it and is hand dyed. This more than enough to be used as a trim yarn for an infinity scarf or shawl, and will give your knitting a special zing that comes with a one of a kind yarn! You will love it. It is bulky yarn with some variation in thickness. You will want to use bulky yarn along with it. In the last pic you will see a scarf that I made myself in yellow. I knit another yarn, and then in the middle I used them both and then on the bottom the other yarn by itself. I get comliments every time I wear it! In pic 3 you will also see a strand of worsted so that you can compare the thicknesses so you will have a better idea of what you are getting. This is a timely process: first I dye the wool, (a beautiful soft springy Blue Leister wool) then I painsteakingly spin the wool, then I wet it and stretch it out, then re spin and ply it carefully adding the feathers, then stretch it out, and twist into a skein. If you would like me to, I will re wrap it into a pretty ball for you before I send it out! I have never offered my hand spun yarn before, but know that I enjoy mine, and am sure you will love yours to!
