Description

The listing, RED COREOPSIS, 50+ SEEDS has ended.

Coreopsis, a close relative of the daisy, is a common North American wild flower with many varieties. They are hardy in USDA zones 3 to 9, The flowers are maroon shades, and they are known for their long blooming season, from summer into fall. They require little care, making them ideal for even beginning gardeners. You can plant the seeds once the ground reaches 70 degrees Usually in mid spring for my zone.which is 7
Prepare the spot for your plants. Water the soil. Plant your seeds 6-8" apart. Barley cover with soil and water again. Mist daily until germination, 7-14 days. Then as needed. You may start early indoors, but they don't transplant well for me andv seem to like one spot.
Thanks for your intrest in my auction and please email with any questions. I mail the next day after win..

No trouble with deer in my flowers. They ate almost all of my Purple Hull Peas 2 years in a row ! My husbang gets something you stick in the ground now. Went out to pick them one day and it looked like a chain saw had been through them !

we have been using a "liquid fence" product. Works pretty well. Once you keep applying it for a while the deer tend to stay away from that area. We finally fenced in part of the yard so I could grow roses. and I am so sorry about the black and blue roses--darn. I was hoping to bid on them when I accumulated more points.
