Up in one corner is a Native Chief, in another corner a buffalo, in another corner a cowboy and in the final corner is a cowboy hogtieing a horse. The map in the middle includes: Washington, Oregon, Montana, N. Dakota, California, Idaho, Wyoming, S.Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, Arizona, New Mexico, Nevada, Utah & Colorado. It came from a pow-wow, it's an authentic Native piece of art, so is the Buffalo. I'll get back to you on its symbolism

Well I looked all over the internet, I believe it's an original piece of art, as many things from a pow-wow are, couldn't find it anywhere but my husband is a Native American man if you'd like me to ask his interpretation of it.
