This is so beautiful. Is a pink opal as soft as a white opal? I have no luck with opals they chip and then fall out of the setting. fan and watching.-

Hi the reason they chip is because if you wear them in water they get soft. You are not supposed to put them on water and take them off if you are doing anything with water. I have had my opal for 15 yrs or longer and never got a chip, because i take them off when I am doing house work or showering. They are a beautiful stone.. And yes this one will be just as sensitive. But with a little care you can have a beautiful ring for a very long time. fanned and thank you so much.
