Description

The listing, Vintage Fraggle Rock Happt Meal Toys has ended.

This is an aution for 2 Vintage McDonalds Happy Meal Toys for Fraggle Rock. They are dated 1987 They are not opened but do have sticker pulls and some have holes in original bag but items inside have never been removed for bags. Some sticker remains. I will be listing a lot of these and some date back to the early 80's. I bought these a long time ago from Goodwill. Some I have tried to remove the stickers. Others I am just leaving them on the package. None of these have been opened.

here is another sticker removal method that is working for me now on glassware and on paper doll booklets. using very hot water, dip a q-tip in the water and swab the sticker only --it is okay to go "out of the line". this will make the paper easier to remove and might help with the adhesive, depending on what type it is. remove what is possible after letting it sit a few minutes. spray a spurt of wd-40 into a small disposable container--I use can tops or bottle caps. roll another q-tip in the wd-40. use it to dissolve the adhesive. rinse well with another q-tip, wiping dry and then doing it again with another q-tip., so you are sure all the wd-40 is off. I do not know if a stain will appear over time if you do not get all the wd-40 off; it has a fish oil base.

I tried a Dry Erase sponge (by Mr. Clean?) on the adhesive residue on a glass and it removed the glue fast! I bought It in a two pack at Home Depot, but the local grocery store might have it. it is used to erase crayon marks, etc. from wall paper.

know what? I would rather have the price sticker than the damage to the package. use a permanent marker to cover the price, and let us make the decision on whether and how to remove it. thanks.

That is what I thought. I do not mind people knowing what I paid for free Happy Meal Toys. And I did buy them a while ago.

I have found another web site that says to spray heavily with wd-40 and let them soak a few minutes, and they come right off. I would still rinse with a little soap to be sure all the wd-40 is off to guard against a future stain.
