Geezzzzz really!!! Doesn't the post office ask if you have anything flammable in the package when you go to send off your packages. I would think that if you said yea..a lighter and it has flint in it..they might have a tiny problem with that. You are right not to do it..and if someone can't go out and buy a small package of flints then they don't need to bid. I mean really, do they want you to smoke the cigarette for them too. Sorry, but if I have to buy a battery for a watch I win..it's because I really want the watch and then go and buy the battery. Ok..l've vented, I feel better now. F&W.

Thank you very much. :-) Fanned you back. I feel if someone is uncomfortable do not do it and if it is listed in description then it is what it is and if someone does not accept that they do not have to bid. I am being honest and not letting anyone think there is a flint and as long as I am being honest and stating it I do not have to worry. :-) It is up to each individual if they want to bid or not. :-)

I listed no flint. I do not have one. It was to small and needed replaced anyways. You are being rude cause you are pushing it and it is stated no flint. The lighter listing says no flint. I will be blocking you.

Thank you so much. It is not easy and can feel for anyone who is trying and having a hard time. It took my mom getting esophageal cancer along with breast cancer that spread to her bones to make me want to quit. Anyone out there trying to quit keep trying tell you do it. One day at a time. :-)

It was completely worn down. I use to use the lighter when I smoked. I did explain to the person and he was being rude after I explained. I also have in the auction it comes without flint. It is my preference. If a person does not want it because I took the flint out and will not ship with one that is okay. They do not have to bid. I blocked because person could not accept the fact I listed without a flint and that is how it is being shipped. If someone does not want to bid because it does not have a flint that is ok. They do not have to bid and can look at other lighters listed. A new flint can be purchased and I will not go purchase one for someone to bid on it. It is in the description. It has no flint I will not ship with a flint for my preference. Thank you

You do replace the flints in the zippo lighters once it is gone. It was a pencil size and I already removed it. It costs about $2.00 for 6 for the replacements. You can purchase it at most drug stores. When I was using it I got them at Wal-mart. I personally do not want to send the the lighter in the mail with the flint in it. If you want to bid and receive the lighter you will have to purchase flints and lighter fluid.

Is this stamped 925 ss to show that it is silver, or is it actually brushed stainless? I used to have one just like it, so I figured I would point that out. People here can be fickle and would hate to see you get a neg fb over a simple mistake. Hope your auction does well, this is a great item!

NO it is not stamped 925ss. The color of the zippo lighter is silver. Thank you

I am very sorry but it does cost more for me to ship it there and I am on disability. If you would like to go half on shipping I will do that.

It is alright, this will most likely go out of my budget anyways. It is nothing against you (your on disability, you have no need to worry), rather listians as a whole. Canadians always offering free shipping to the U.S and the favour not being returned.. I hope you understand. As I say again, nothing against you at all :)

am not trying to be rude or anything. I have stated my reason for not including the flint. I would appreciate it if people would stop stating that it would be smarter for me to include flint or the post office allows it. I am uncomfortable shipping with the flint. I am not a lighter retailer and when I ship something I want to be comfortable on what I ship. It is my name on the package also and my responsibility since I am the one shipping it. Please understand that it is my preference. It will be up to you to purchase a flint when you receive it. It will be handy to have the extras anyways. :-) I appreciate all the advise but I will not ship with a flint. I decided to auction it to people on Listia because I know someone would like it. Yes and to receive credits ****but I will not do something I am uncomfortable with just to get more credits. Thank you.

Also I have had several auctions on here and other sites. I have in the description what it has and doesn't. I have no problems blocking people who may be potential problems. The lighter works and I just do not want to ship with a flint do to my preference as stated. If they are not happy with my listing and want something it has it is okay to not bid on the listing. I am sorry he feels it is rude to list without a flint but that is his opinion.

HI Those are not stupid questions at all. I get mine at Wal-mart. The Country-Mart also has them in my town. I too live in a rural area. It is easy to put in. It has a screw at the bottom. You use a flat head screw driver. You unscrew the screw be careful because there is a spring. You take out the screw and spring slide the flint in and put the spring back in and then screw the screw back in. Once in you have the spark to make the flame with the fluid. Then put the fluid in you can light it. I would recommend to put the flint in before you put the fluid in. :-) Hope that answers your question. If not please let me know. :-)
