The medal itself is about 2 1/2 inches round. IT IS in a sealed package so Unless I open it I can't tell you what it says on the back

its metal I just checked. The GIN would have to really be worth my while simply because I am a widow on a very fixed income and have to watch every penny. Also at this late date I could not guarantee you would get it in time for Christmas and no matter what I could NOT afford the shipping for overnight mail
