The listing, 60 year-old, Vintage 1956 Magazine Sleigh & Reindeer Instruction Page - STORYBOOK CHRISTMAS has ended.
This page is large. It is from a 1956 magazine. I don't know which one, sorry, but I do know that it has beautiful colors especially for something that is sixty years old! The recipes included are only for frosting as they say to, 'Prepare rolled cooky dough, using cooky mix or your own recipe for plain, rolled cookies or gingerbread men...' (It's so odd to see how many times they have written 'cooky' in this article!) They give complete recipes for the frosting you'll need and instructions for assembly.
It is titled: STORYBOOK CHRISTMAS. It is only one page, but says continued in a couple places. The rest must have been more things you could make, but I'm not sure. Their instructions just say to add the reindeer to the frosted board before it dries, but I'd apply royal frosting to just those areas under the reindeer and use soup cans on either side of each one to help steady it while each dried. (Don't get the can stuck in that frosting though... what a pain getting *that* unstuck!) Anyway, the bottom of this page are sleigh and reindeer templates so that you can make your own 'cooky' pieces.
The reverse of this page is a full color ad for Betty Crocker. Again, the colors are terrific!
This page has been folded and I don't know where it came from so I am not sure about other details.
