Questions & Comments
What you do is tell the winner that you will send them the number on the phone to see if they can activate and then when they give the okay you send the phone and only then. This protects them and you. Or you can take it to Metro like I did and they told me that it was okay to activate as the only reason it would not be with a metro phone is if the phone is stolen. Good Luck and good auction
If the phone is still attached to the previous owner's account the winner will NOT be able to activate it until the previous owner call's MetroPCS and have them remove the phone from their account....then it can be reactivated.
All you gotta do is go to here http://www.checkesnfree.com/ click on MetroPCS and type in the ESN # and it will tell you if it's clear or not for activation
I dont know abt where you are from, but in Fort Worth, Texas metro is a prepaid service. So, you cant owe a bill on the serial number of the phone. The only way it wouldnt be activatable would be if it were stolen.I seriously doubt this guy would put a phone on here that is stolen!!!
just so you know. if the winner sends it back with tracking listia will give them all their credits back. you cant just give back half because it doesnt work that. way. i dont even have metro up here in ohio but i will still bid if it has wifi. can you take a picture of the charger port so i know what kind of charger to get if i win?
I could be wrong on my info, so dont hold me to any of that. Thats just how i understand things to be. If it was me, I would flash the phone regardless, but thats me. I do have the flashing software, but im too busy to just flash phones for the whole world. I will think about it for a small fee for whoever wins it though. Contact me through email for details.
Well this is a prepaid phone, not a contract phone, so if you dont pay the bill, you dont get the next months service, just like any other prepaid phone. However if it was ever reported lost/stolen, then it gets locked, and to my knowledge thats the only way to lock a prepaid phone.
What I did with the phone I had and it had the same issue was the person who owned it last just never told metro that they were not using the phone any longer. So they called metro and metro released the phone. I then went to metro an they said it was clear. You are going thru just what I did with a similar phone. If you have any questions on what I did just PM me and I will do my best to help.
okay i called the people they said that its not clear for activation but to have it clear for activation to get the person dat owned the phone to have it cleared so i can have it clear for activation by callin my cuzzin have it cleared or the person that win it can flash/or unlock the phone then get the meid number change i would nt beable to do it because i dont want the phone cut on right now but you can get the phone on know matter what
no the screen is in good condition in its kno damage to the phone i do not kno if its clear for activation i didnt use it cause i havee a iphone i just had the phone because i that i was goin go with metro pcs i ship stuff off mondays nd tusdays in yes i will make sure i use a delivery confirmation
Well if you have had the phone for a while.. then it should be good for activation.. whoever had it turned on before just has to a wait a month for their name to clear off the phone
No I don't want to end up with a cheaper phone. I want this one. Nevermind I won't bid if you you can't say for sure that the phone is clear for activation.
