Cosmos are huge annual flowering plants that grow to an impressive height of 3 feet, and bear an abundance of colorful blooms in purple. I planted these as a different color last year and to my suprise, this is what came up ! Beautiful !
Cosmos is very drought tolerant and requires very little maintenance.and thrives in full sun.. Cosmos loves to be neglected, perfect for the busy or weekend gardener. I don't start my seeds early . They don't seem to transplant well for me, but the choice is yours. Prepare a place you will plant them. Water the ground. Place your seeds 6" apart. Barley cover with soil. Mist again. Mist daily until the sprout, usually 7 days. Then mist as needed untilnthey are about 1" and the regular water as needed.
