Up for bid in one large and gorgeous 4x6 inch sticker produced by Sticker Robot and designed by Dustin Parker in an unprecidented independent art campaign. This is number 9 in the series that was started with the now infamous Hope image by Shepard Fairey. (number one in the artist series) Most of the artist series stickers were in a run of 5000. This was run as a set (pictured, but not included) with a "despair" sticker depicting McCain. I emailed Sticker Robot directly to find out how many of these there were since sticker packs came with 10 stickers, 8 "hope" and 2 "despair" per pack. They told me that there were roughly 4000 "hope" and about 1000 "despair", but even they had no exact number.. oddly. i guess they probably ran a few extra in case of flaws. The stickers made in the campaign are AMAZING! Colors were applied layer by layer and UV coated to last. It lends a really nice appeal in the texturing and has a very high gloss finish. Top quality, heavy duty vinyl. Own this rare piece of history for free. Good luck and thanks for looking.
