2011 Topps included some super-short print variations.The players were all legends, generally Hall of Famers. Series 1 packaged the SPs at only 1 card per 80 packs of HTA cards, meaning it would take nearly 3000 HTA packs to even have a chance to complete the 24 card set with no doubles. As a result, the cards command a heavy premium.

One of baseball's legendary "Whiz Kids" rotation, Roberts led the Philadelphia Phillies to a rare pennant in 1950.
Roberts' win totals from 1950-1955 were: 20, 21, 28, 23, 23, 23. He finished in the top 10 of MVP voting 5 times in that span (there was no Cy Young Award at that time). He was elected to the Hall of Fame in 1976.
