I know these say 925, but are they just sterling silver plated? You know what I mean? You wear them for a while and the silver starts coming off and there"s a copper color underneath. Thanks!

When I first purchased them I was weary of them too so I wore one for two weeks straight washing dishes, bathing and sleeping with it on and it is still beautiful. i have sold some of these on ebay and other sites and have had no complaints, so as far as i know these are the real thing.
