The hook on it is. I can't read it as it's very small or it's that my eyes are bad. But I know it's .925 as I can not wear anything other than that or gold. And I myself bought it from Landau's maybe 4 years ago and it was in their display case which is where them keep their fine Sterling Silver..As with all fine silver you are best to keep it in those little plastic zip loc bags to keep it from tarnishing.
