Do you know why it won't turn on? Water damage, charger port, battery, loose wire, etc.?

I have a charger i tryed to charge it . It was in the basement in a storage box. The light came on to show it was charging but i left it on there for about 2 hours and would not turn on. So i do not know what had happen to it. That is why i put as is . thanks
