Starter Fluid for the Morning Impaired...It is one of the cutest ones yet! The size is 3.5" X 11" X 3/4" thick. It comes from a non smoking, pet friendly home.

I washed my down jacket tonight and that is so warm. Guess all we can do is layer our clothes and hope for the best. At least we have a gas stove and can still cook! Been a long time since we had ice like what's coming!

I really appreciate that..Not looking forward to that stuff. But we have had very mild winters for awhile and we just aren't used to ice. The whole city will literally shut down if it gets as bad as they say it's going to be. I do have a butane heater and that will help some. Have to get some ice melt tomorrow..Another thing on my list...LOL

The National Weather Bureau said to expect 2-4" of ice From Friday night through Saturday night. Cell phones are charged and so are the I-Pads, so we can read and check our phones for any updates with the light company. If we go down, it should be repaired by Sunday, fingers crossed. We have a forest across the street and what worries me more are trees coming down on my house. I"m hoping and praying it warms up before the storm happens.

I'm hoping for the best and prepared for the worst. Thank heavens for a gas stove though! At least we can cook, plus get a little heat in the house as well...I have a big pot roast in the freezer and it will feed us and my neighbors too. Her husband can just slide over and pick it up...I'm not doing it!
