Is this color white or beige?

It says Aran on the label, but it definitely looks almost white to me. I have no clue as to where they come up with these names. It's not beige, but I'm going to research the color name to be sure.

Aran is a shade of ivory, I don't know why they just didn't put that on the label. Hope this is helpful.
