Description

The listing, 8 Pc Jewelry Tools Kit --Mini Travel Sized w/Zipper Pouch!- Must Have For the Jewelry Makers!! has ended.

Here's a great 8 piece jewelry maker's tool set -- all the basic items for on the go, for that beginner, or to have those spare tools that I know as a jewelry maker are as easy to misplace as a single seed bead on shag carpeting!!

The winner will get at least one (1) small zip lock baggie of quality beads from my own stash or more depending upon how high the bids go!!!

This kit includes:

Flat Nose Pliers
Round Nose Pliers
Side Trim Cutters
Spring Double Blade Cutters
Nylon Jaw Pliers
Long Bead Scooper
Thin Sharp Pointed Tweezers

(If I have not been technical enough in the names of these tools feel free to ask questions or correct me!!)

This all comes as an 8 pc set (great for that jewelry maker in your life for Valentine's Day!!) that includes a small, sturdy zipper case with sturdy elastic areas to hold each tool in its place.

*Wonderful for Travel*

*Great for the Beginner Jewelry Maker*

*Perfect as a Spare Set*

*Nice for Beading/Jewelry Making Introduction with a Friend or Older Child

I have yet to decide and do my research as to "how well is well" with credits for this set -- these tools are mostly about 4" - 5" in length, but I'm already getting ready a nice selection of extra beads that I can give the winner as an additional bonus and "thank you" since this set has been lightly used and sending a little baggie or even a few with some of my personal stash of beads won't be any extra shipping so, why not??

Please let me know if you have any questions I can answer that will make your bidding experience easier and/or more enjoyable and I'll be happy to do so!

Thanks for stopping by -- Happy Bidding!

I would take you up on that tutoring in a minute too!

I would say not to be afraid to get tutoring from a professor at school. I know for me personally, I didn't even want to think about getting tutoring with some advanced Calculus I was taking at one point in time because I was in college and nearing the age of 30 and felt like, "Well, it's going to be humiliating to get tutored by a kid that's not even old enough to drink!!" so I found a retired math professor that still worked at the university I was attending as a sports coach who was no longer teaching math but was such an excellent, patient tutor and helped me realize that I DID NOT FORGET all of those math concepts it just takes practice and continued practice like any other skill. He made sure that I not only re-learned everything the right way, but he made sure I was 100% confident with what I was learning and I don't think the younger kids that tutor are quite able to do that too. Have your advisor check around campus and find someone like I did to tutor you even if you are doing well in the class -- there's nothing like being 100% confident in ANY math class, especially when you are re-learning stuff!!

Best of luck, my friend, on re-learning the math concepts, it's not easy, and trying at all is a huge accomplishment so keep on keepin' on!! Let me know if you've posted any auctions lately because I am finally starting to recover from that Guerlain I got from you!!

Awwww.... shucks -- you're such a sweetie. You are STILL the ONLY ONE who ever did a "GIN" on my earrings or other jewelry and it really spurred me on and gave me more confidence and motivation to keep making jewelry for Listia instead of getting discouraged!!

Thanks so much for your high bid so far and good luck on any further bidding!!

Great to see you stop by again and very happy to know you're still enjoying that Czech tear drop bracelet -- it was so fun to make I'd be sad to hear that it was already sitting in the bottom of the jewelry box all lonely and such!!

Take care!!

Aww... so much respect for you in doing that!!

This set would be wonderful if used to replace or upgrade the tools for your cause and I would be so happy to know they were going for such a wonderful cause!!

Thanks for stopping by and sharing -- good luck if you decide to bid!!

At this point it looks like there's going to be quite the extra bonus amount of beads!!

What an awesome auction and from reading some of the comments here, what an awesome Listian! :D I will be watching and bidding. Need this badly :) One question, can the winner pick a color of the bonus beads that you're adding in the package? I'm currently doing a project so I thought I'd ask just in case I win :)

Thank you so much for so many compliments!! I have one packet of the bonus beads all picked out and will be adding what it is to the details of the auction and if I have the right color that the winner needs for a project and can spare a fair amount I have absolutely no problem doing that considering how high the bids are already and how wonderful this auction has been going!!

So, yes, I'll definitely try to cater the bonus beads to something the winner can use right away or something that the winner needs!!

Some tools have been used a few times -- the yellow handled "side trim cutters" has a bit of red FIMO clay that left slight stains (you can see in the photos) on the handles, but otherwise everything it in brand new condition and I would say that there are not more than 3 tools that have been used and that was only a handful of times.

They all have plenty of life left in them and plenty more projects ahead to be part of!

Thanks so much for stopping by -- hope to see you bid and good luck if you do!

Thank you as always for the words of encouragement! No new auctions yet. There's been a bit of a crisis on the "home front", I may send you a FB message later and fill you in, I am having a really rough week, it has to get better, the when is the question.......

Instead of FB (since I never go on there) send me an email at: redcadet@ymail.com.

Things have been a bit tough for me too so hopefully we can exchange emails and be support for each other. Doesn't it always seem like there's some crisis or another happening?? ::sigh::

Tons of positive energy your way that the crisis becomes a bit easier to resolve as soon as possible!

Thanks so much -- I am so happy so many people are showing interest in this auction especially since I don't see actual jewelry making tools very often on Listia and there's always a huge selection of other jewelry making beads and other items -- so I think with it being known that I am a jewelry maker like many of us here on Listia it goes without saying that the credits from this set will likely be used on some of the great jewelry making beads and other items we are lucky enough to have on Listia!!

Good luck if you decide to bid and thanks so much for stopping by!!

Take care!

Get them back out!! (After you clean your room, Missy!!!)

You have enough of an eye for photography -- that means double bonus with making jewelry AND photographing it if you decide to sell it.

If you have any tips for photographing jewelry I personally make (even though I think I usually do a fairly good job compared to some Listians) I would love to hear about them in a private message!!

care to do a gin option?
Jan 20th, 2012 at 2:55:34 PM PST by

Sorry, hun, I wish I had seen your comment just about 20 minutes ago and I would probably set it up, but now there are folks bidding. I really really appreciate the offer and the thought though -- it's very sweet of you.

I really wanted to have a "GIN" option, but had NO CLUE what individual tools go for let alone an 8 piece set that was mini sized.

I have lots of my own jewelry tools in full sizes and multiples but I have purchased them all singly so any auction up of jewelry tools usually just bounces off of my peripheral vision when I'm scoping out beads and pendant stones.

I'm sorry -- I do hope to see you bid though and the very best of luck to you if you do!! Take care and thanks for stopping by!
