I have this rare Carter family button since the very day of the NYC rioting to protest the hostages that Carter refused to take action on in Iran (Yeah, the same Iran Obama "Donated" 150 BILLION dollars too)
I was in a crowd facing off quite a few Iranian Nationals when one of the guys with me took off this button and simply FLUNG it across 6th avenue lol, yep just chucked it across some 50 yards and amazingly.....no damage at all to the button! Must have landed on its steel side :)
Quite a nice piece, I decided to hold it for remembrance of the day, it was all in all...quite a day indeed, chaos unimaginable, but thats a story for another day. Im older and much wiser now (Pfffzzztt!)
