The listing, Vintage Cymrex Pocket Watch has ended.

This is a VERY vintage pocket watch. Approx. the 1920's! Not quite an antique yet, but close! The inside back panel states made by (something that starts with an ' n') expressly for patented cymrex watches guaranteed to wear 10 years maritz watch & mfg. co. 1301922. On the movements it states brevets sr fa swiss made 7 jewels 2 adj. cymrex watch co. geneve. There are also these numbers 125859. This watch co was incorporated in 1894 as E. Maritz Jewelry MFG CO. in Fenton MO. I use watch parts for steampunk jewelry. This watch does not run and the minute hand is missing but it is definitely a cool piece for someone who likes timepieces and history! It's even awesome for those of us who design jewelry for ourselves and others ;)! It def needs cleaning and even has 'original' verdigris on it! lol. Really really cool piece.

Fanned & Watching. This might be a Dumb Question, but, Does that Hour Hand turn when you try to twist the knob on top ? If can get it to run, it would be a Fun piece to have it run with only an Hour Hand ! You could still Guestimate the time ! I'll keep Watching, Bob in Texas U S A.

I tried to turn the stem, but it just won't :(. It would be a fun piece if it would run like that! I have several vintage/antique pocket watches that I use in my jewelry. I either take them apart or use them 'as found'. People that like my type of design don't mind if they don't don't work! They are ooak pieces and have a past! You really seem to be 'out there' :) too, I'll bet you have some awesome photography!
