this is a pocket diaper, so it has an opening at the top so you can stuff an insert in it that would soak up babys pee and keep it from leaking. you can also stuff it with two inserts for like overnights or long car rides so it will have extra protection.

think its 30-32lbs.. my son fit this brand when he was 3 so they definitely last a while!
