Description

The listing, Handpainted Wool from Italy has ended.

2 3/4 balls of lovely soft Berlini Jumbolina "designer yarn" ( varying thick and thin) in beautiful shades of yellow, green, and brown. The colors are most accurate in the last picture! It's leftover wool from a cowl I just made for my mom, and I can tell you with confidence that it's wonderful to knit with. The varying thickness of the strands makes for an interesting texture even in stockinette ( I knit wide horizontal ribs), but they never get so thin that they break. This has happened to me with other "designer yarns" so I thought I'd point it out! ;-)
78% wool, 22% acrylic, color 14, dye lot 23.
9 stitches and 15 rows with US size 13 knit up to approx. 4 inches. I used 10.5 needles, though. Experiment and see what you prefer!
No info on yardage, but for the cowl in the last pic I needed a little more than 3 balls.
From my smoke-free and pet-free home.

Original
tTnk you! It was handknitted with 16" circular needles, alternating 5 knit rounds and 5 purl rounds. Easy peasy!
