One of the reasons I love this figure so much, is because it leaves it open for interpretation! Is it the mother's hand protecting the precious baby girl, or maybe her father's hand? Or perhaps it is the hand of God holding her? Or maybe the hand of a loved one who has passed on, and is now her Guardian Angel!

This statue is just so incredibly heart warming and truly touching, that when I found out I was pregnant, I bought both a boy and a girl one of these, although I had already found out I was having a boy! But I got the girl one also, as I wanted to share it with my fellow Listians who is expecting a baby girl! Or to a fellow Listian who is already a proud mommy, daddy, grandma, grandpa, aunt, sister, family friend, and so on, to a beautiful Baby Girl!
