The listing, Authentic civil war VMI button D.Evans co. SWEET! has ended.

What a beautiful button..this is my first auction so I wanted to start with something really nice...up for bid is an authentic VMI (Virginia Military Institute ) button made by the D.Evans Co. And it also reads attleboro Ms in a banner....this button was dug in my brothers back yard, only 50 yards from the VMI college...the button still retains alot of the original gold gilt...other buttons I've researched sell for between $115-160! This button is in dug up condition...meaning pulled from the earth...not off of a coat...it shows wear on the back...but you can still make out the writing...email me with any other questions...ill do my best to answer them...I'm new to this site...still learning...good luck..

Thanks man....this is about the fifth or sixth one that we found so far...but by far the best one...we also found a sword...I'm gonna get a metal detector and look around...this one was actually found by my brothers St.Bernard....he dug it up..funny...this is the only one that still had the shank still intact...good luck bidding...awesome button if you win it..

I wish listia had a shorter listing time.....I see things up here with an outrageous auction time...most people wait until the last day to bid anyways....
