Just being curious, what do you normally make with these? They look very interesting and would love to use them in my cooking, cause I love to cook just not sure what they are supportive of when cooking...thanks!

To my knowledge they are mainly used in Mexican and Southwestern food. They are not related to tomatoes, but to gooseberries which grow in Australia (go figure), They do have a sort of green tomato taste. I use them in salsa. You boil them in water to get the sticky skin off and then chop. I think that's how they are used in most dishes. Thanks for asking.

They sound wonderful! How difficult are they to grow, do they grow well in the south with all this humidity? How long does to take before the fruits are ready for harvest?I love Southwestern and Mexican foods so these plants would be great to have!!

OK, I'll try to answer everything. You harvest in 95 days, 8-10 days to germinate.. South is start indoors from Jan.-Mar. but with the cooler weather we've had I think they could be planted right into the garden in full sun. Hope this helps.
