i had put it together myself and discovered that some pieces were missing but i ordered them from Lego and they will be with the kit when it is shipped out

yes it is backwards compatable with ds games

according to the nintendo website for the dsi3d this game would be compatible with that particular game system because it is supposed to be backward compatible for older ds games.
