the cosmo is a nice phone. that phone can be changed from prepay to plan. i had mind on a plan-then i called verizon and it is now a prepay. it depends on the phone if it can be one or another. good luck to you all. who ever wins you are getting an excellent phone. you also can put a chip in for pictures and etc. fanned you
