This antique looking phone is actually a push button phone not a dial. It has a small drawer in the bottom for storing 'post it' size paper and small pencil. On the bottom you can switch between tone or pulse and adjust volume.

Yes, I plugged it in at a friends place and it worked. I do not have phone service.

Yes it is real. Needs no electricity. Just plug into active phone jack.

Yes it is real. You just need home phone service and plug into phone jack. No electrical plug.
