Lol. This knee pad Is to rest ur shotgun on ur knee while setting. It keeps ur gun from sliding off ur knee and frees up one hand so u can use a call to lure the turkey in closer without a bunch of movement. Sorry if I didnt explain item well enough in the listing.
Great! I knew that every time I saw knee pads they were in sets of two. Your info makes sense but are you splitting up a set or they sold this way? I've never seen it before. Thanks for your reply I pre-shate it.
Ive only seen them sold separately. I have acquired 3 over the years. However I do have another one that i might be willing to get rid of.. I always buy way to much hunting accessories. .
Yes. ive used them many times. I guess I should have maybe listed it as a gun rest that straps to ur knee.. but not sure how this site is with guns or guns accessories. .so I listed it as a knee pad
But a turkey knee pad is a good idea..!!.. I know a turkey can see you blink at 150 yards so they see any movement. I don't know if you have knowledge that Benjamin Franklin wanted the wild turkey to be the national bird. He said that the only thing the bald eagle had going for it was that it was pretty. That the wild turkey was smarter, bigger, and much better represented the strength that our new country wanted to be. But the other " Founding Fathers " voted him down. Just think, if he had his way we today could not hunt turkeys. If you look under "rules" you can find a complete list of what you can and can't list. Gun accessories are allowed but metal ammo and some gun parts aren't. The list will tell you. You can list it as a gun rest for the knee. But with your help I got things figured out. Myself I use a forked stick for the barrel. I use the gillie suit I used in 'nam. It allows me to move a little. My turkey call takes two hands. It's one of those slate calls. My knees aren't up high enough when I'm sitting to rest a gun on. But boy what a good idea.
