The listing, Beaded Bookmarks has ended.
I make bookmarks using beads. I usually make them with glass and plastic beads like you would see on jewelry. My daughter wanted to get involved and make some that her friends (elementary students) could use without fear of breaking or losing them. So I found these triangular plastic beads to make them from. She and her friends liked them so much, that I thought I would share them with my Listia friends! I use them to teach kids and adults alike not to turn down the pages of a book to mark their place!
These four are as follows:
1. Yellow & White beads with loops on both ends, 6-1/2" between beads. Works best for books that are the paperback book size.
2. Amber, Cream & Orange with a pony bead loop at the ends, 9" between beads. It will work for the larger size paperback books like most of the kids books are these days.
3. Blue, Green & Purple with a purple wooden flower at one end, 9-1/2". Again for the larger size paperback books.
4. Blue & Orange with pony bead loops at the ends, 7". This one will fit the smaller paperback books.
It is best to measure the spine of your book to be sure the bookmark will fit!
The winner may choose 2 of these and I will repost the other two in another auction.
If you have a favorite team or favorite colors, drop me a message and I can make them for you (your kids) and list them for you to win.
These make great gifts inside a new book!
