There are a lot of different dell's. If you are not sure what your computer takes my suggestion would be to go to http://www.ask.com and put into the search, "how do I find out what type of ram my computer takes?" They have great step by step instructions on how to do this! If you have any other questions please don't hesitate to ask! Thanks for looking and happy bidding!

Also if you still have dell support you could call them and ask them or look at the specs for your machine if you still have them.

valeriejewell2, you can also go to dells website and lookup your computers modem number. From there you can get the speks of the mother board and what kind of ram it takes.

For Dell it's actually called a "service tag" number. Nice RAM, I'm glad I was outbid on it though, because it's 667Mhz and I need 800. GLWA though!

Valerie, every computer is different so you would have to find out what kind of ram your computer takes and how far you can upgrade it. It all depends on the motherboard. Thanks for looking and good luck everyone!
