I received a settlement in a Class Action with JC Penney and was issued a electronic gift card that can be used on the JC Penney website. It is completely transferable stated in the e-mail. Once the auction is completed, I will forward you full e-mail which contains the card number and pin. Here is what is at the end of the e-mail.

Terms and Conditions: Each Store Credit shall be fully transferable, stackable and may be used in connection with any promotional discount(s). Store Credits have no expiration date and need not be used in full at any time. They will maintain a running balance that is depleted based on use until the balance is zero, but are not redeemable for cash.

No no... Class Action lawsuit over false advertising awhile ago I signed up for. And I was eligible... Found it on a class action website a year go.. Hence the payout.

If it has the code and pin I'm sure it could be used in store right? All the winner would need to do is at the checkout enter the code and then the pin into the keypad. Just a thought from personal experience using gift cards at JCP. Good luck on your auction!
