The Oregon Grape Holly
A wonderful bush that I adore. Now, here in SC it is at the stage of the bright yellow flowers. This spring it will begin to start showing the first signs of berries. By summer they can be picked and made into jelly if you like. Now I have never done this so I cannot say to what it's like but I plan to this summer. (already have my little jars ready).
They come up very easy from seed so I would say now would be a good time to plant them, thinking about how they fall off the bush and come up later in winter. They tend to grow pretty fast.
You will get about 10 or so seeds. I'd plant half now and save half for spring just to make sure. The leaves are thick and hard like a holly.
I only ship to Listia verified address. Happy Bidding and God Bless.
