Hi, I'm so sorry I've taken so long, I've been really really busy and i home school my nephew so I've hardly had time to rest or think straight!!!! Since I'm not sure how to get the most accurate measurement on these bowls i decided to use a ONE CUP measuring cup and i filled it to the top edge with water. About 3/4 of it fit in the bowl before it was overflowing all over the place. So I'd say between 1/2 and 3/4 cup would fit. The dry food can fit 3/4 cup easily. After my experiments though, i would say with all honesty, these bowls can hold a half cup liquid or dry food without any problem or issues. Which is more water and food then you realize. I have a yorkie and i have a Maltese Bichon and these are actually perfect size for either of them but i use a bigger bowl now and they share the same one. Hope this helps guys, I'm sorry if it doesn't help but it's all i got!!!!!!!! LoL

Thanks, they will last a very long time, that's what i like about them. I have 5 dogs and two cats so my bowls are really big now so i decided to pass these along. They have just been sitting up and i hate to see them not getting used.
