I have 2 of these that i won on here! Great umbrellas the best i've ever owned!
The hard case is sort of like those collapsable camping cups but it's attached to the umbrella. It collapses down the umbrella and stays at the top. When you come in out of the rain you basically pull it up over the umbrella so that the water doesn't drip all over the floor! I might just be bidding on another one!

this doesn't hold mold! You unscrew the top and drain the water out! Wipe it down..voila you're done! I love these umbrella's have 2 need about 2 more!

only thing i wish is that they'd come in colors other then black! maybe a hunter green or blue or even a brown or tan or navy would be nice.

oh yeah also the top screws off to empty the water that collects in the bottom. When i get into work i go to a sink and empty the water or water the plants w/ the rain water! ;)
