FREE: Unidentified grass seed head(Now identified as Broom Grass

The listing, Unidentified grass seed head(Now identified as Broom Grass has ended.

Ornamental grass that would look better in pic had it not been for Hurricane Irene. It's really pretty! A fellow Listian( dinahlee)identified it as Broom grass.
It makes very nice primitive brooms--thrash the seeds out, then tie in small bundles around a stick of your choosing and wrap wire or twine around it and add a hanger.
The pioneers used it for many things such as forage for animals, feed etc.
