Diameter. Very Good Condition.***Damascene is an elaborate process that takes skill, patience and a very steady engraver's hand but it produces exceptionally beautiful pieces of jewelry that combine precious metals on an oxidized background. In its true form, the technique brings together silver and 18K-24 K gold and that is the way it was practiced in Japan, with the Amita company being one of the most well-known producers of high quality Damascene jewelry in the first part of the 20th c.
