if you like antiques .the more you study about the mint marks and tpes of pottery or glass .the easier it is to spot a good piece when you are out looking for things to buy or invest into .knowing your mint marks is important .plus being able to spot a fake is as important as spoting the real thing .i am 77 and have many reference books and have learned a lot from them .years ago i was a picker in penna .love flea markets and yard sales always looking for that sleeper .a piece which is worth much more then priced good luck bidding
