There is no 1899 D. Denver mint didn't start minting coins until 1906.

FWIW, the mint mark is the O on the reverse at the 6 o'clock position.

yes its an O from new orleans the 1899 no mint mark that it is listed as is worth about 180 dollars in fine condition big differance a mint mark makes

But only 7 tail feathers and no artist initials helps denote the value.
f-12 only worth 25 dollars yet ms-67 is worth 2050 (not this coin) Avg value would run from 25 to about 50. Only a few Morgans carry high resale value. But I love these coins

Yes I Knew Avg..Was Between that I have only had 1 that was worth around $90.00 That is the highest I ever had At auction they always go between $30-40 range..

this coin grades good/about good looks like it has a small rim bump on bottom of coin which puts its value at whatever silver melt value is which isnt bad considering silver closed around 33 dollars an ounce yesterday and just for general info their are many morgan dollars in the key and semi key date catagories that list over 100 dollars in low grade and as high as 20000 in mint state grades for example most of the carson city coins fall in that catagory and many others very expensive and challenging series to complete
