Sweet Banana peppers are a great pepper to eat fresh with no hint of heat. These peppers are light yellow when ripe but can be left on plant to allow them to turn red. I do not like to do that as sometimes they will start to rot before you can use them.

How large does the plant grow

From my past experiences, I have had these plants grow up to 3-4 feet tall and about 24 inches across(around). Depends on your growing median and how much you water and fertilize. Mulch heavy and water less makes peppers grow larger and mature later. I have harvested these peppers up to 8 inches in length. Awesome banana peppers.
