I have a Iphone 2g 8gb phone. This phone is working just fine, but it is stuck in DFU mode right now.

IT should be easy to pop this back into regular mode and get it working on the ATT network.

Just to clarify. It only runs 2g not 3G and has a a silver back. Correct?

right now, it is neither locked or unlocked. it is in limbo.

if its stuck in DFU mode download blackra1n and run it or "make it rain" and it should fix it if not then hold down the home and power buttons for 15 sec then let go of the power button and hold the home button for 15 sec then try turning it on if the apple logo pops up and it tells you to connect to itunes it worked and you have to restore it but it it just turns on and goes to the home screen then it is all ready to go.

Oh I would like to help some more...lol When you list your future auctions on Listia. Right after you list go to the auction and type in "reserved for future comments" in a couple or more, of the reply boxes and then if someone ask a question later in the listing you can go back and reply to you own reply and put the answer at the begining of your listing. @shaggy2dope, you cant use Verizon on an iPhone.... PERIOD. They're not meant to work with CDMS phones. iPhones only work with 3G OR EDGE. In other words, AT&T, T-Mobile, Rogers Fidos, Orange, Airtel...etc NOT VERIZON, NOT SPRINT, NOT BOOST MOBILE...

You will receive a sync cable along with the phone. and DFU mode is what Apple employees use to restore the iphone in the apple store.
